"We had an initial meeting which looked at our child's needs in detail. We were told that a tutor would be found who would match our child's needs, not just academically but someone who would be able to draw the best out of them. In other words, the tutor's personality would also be taken into account. We were a little cynical about this but were absolutely delighted with the outcome! Our tutor's gentle and encouraging approach helped rapidly develop an excellent rapport with our child who had lost all confidence (and interest) in maths. It was very heartening to see this change and our child's confidence and enthusiasm grow.In addition, the tutor soon identified our child's strengths and focussed on developing these, which was morale-boosting. In this way, the tutoring was personalised to achieve the highest marks possible for our child. We are very grateful for the support our child received.”
